Hey

"Hey"

"Hey, whatcha gonna do when the lord comes back for His chosen few?
Hey, what's He gonna find?
Will your heart be ready, or filled with gloom?
Are you gonna be ready? Cause it's gonna be soon.
Can you see the clock how it ticks away?
In the blink of an eye it's the judgment day;
There's a great reward or it's time to pay.
Better make up your mind, He could be on His way!
Hey, whatcha gonna do when the lord comes back for His chosen few?
Hey, what's He gonna find?

Will your heart be ready, or filled with gloom?
Are you gonna be ready? Cause it's gonna be soon.
From the book of life will your name be read?
Will your soul be happy or your heart feel dread?
There's the straight and narrow or a path of sin
Well your time's runnin out,
So I'll ask you again....."

Where will you be when the Lord returns? Confused and filled with agony because you weren't ready? Or caught up in the clouds with Him?

 "For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words."
 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18

Calvary

Praise the Lord for Calvary! Mercy was great and grace was free - and to think it was free to me - undeserving wretch that I was and am. Praise His Name!

Years I spent in vanity and pride,
Caring not my Lord was crucified,
Knowing not it was for me He died
On Calvary.

Mercy there was great, and grace was free;
Pardon there was multiplied to me;
There my burdened soul found liberty,
   At Calvary.

By God’s Word at last my sin I learned;
Then I trembled at the law I’d spurned,
Till my guilty soul imploring turned
      To Calvary.

Now I’ve giv’n to Jesus everything,
Now I gladly own Him as my King,
Now my raptured soul can only sing
 Of Calvary.

Oh, the love that drew salvation’s plan!
Oh, the grace that brought it down to man!
Oh, the mighty gulf that God did span
  At Calvary!

Mercy there was great, and grace was free;
Pardon there was multiplied to me;
There my burdened soul found liberty,

   At Calvary.

As Long as You Are Glorified

As Long as You Are Glorified
Shall I take from Your hand Your blessings
Yet not welcome any pain?
Shall I thank You for days of sunshine
Yet grumble in days of rain?
Shall I love You in times of plenty
Then leave You in days of drought?
Shall I trust when I reap a harvest
But when winter winds blow, then doubt?

Oh let Your will be done in me
In Your love I will abide
Oh I long for nothing else as long
As You are glorified

Are You good only when I prosper
And true only when I’m filled?
Are You King only when I’m carefree
And God only when I’m well?
You are good when I’m poor and needy
You are true when I’m parched and dry
You still reign in the deepest valley
You’re still God in the darkest night

 Oh let Your will be done in me
In Your love I will abide
Oh I long for nothing else as long
As You are glorified

It's Under the Blood

This song is very powerful, and personally one of my favorites.

It’s Under the Blood

While walking down a memory lane oh not so long ago
Satan came by my way making me feel low
he brought up thoughts of hurt and pain when I had gone astray
he wanted to discourage me as I walked along my way
he said you’re undeserving, cause I know where you’ve been
I have a record of your life when you were bound by sin
I know your darkest secrets that you would never tell,
what makes you think you don’t deserve a place with me in Hell?
I heard the old accuser and this was my reply
you’re right for all the things I’ve done, I sure deserve to die;
My righteousness is filthy rags my goodness is unclean
there’s only one thing I can say to what you’ve said to me

It's under the blood, oh praise His dear name!
I'm not what I used to be, my life’s been changed.
Not shackled by sin and shame, it's already gone.
I'm happy reminding you, it's under the blood!

Victory was given me when I was born again
He washed my stained and sinful past and put new life within
no longer do I bear the mark that sin had brought my way
with happiness and peace of mind praise God I now can say

It's under the blood, oh praise His dear name!
I'm not what I used to be, my life’s been changed.
Not shackled by sin and shame, it's already gone.
I'm happy reminding you, it's under the blood!

What can wash away my sins; nothing but the blood of Jesus
What can make me whole again; nothing but the blood of Jesus

It's under the blood, oh praise His dear name!
I'm not what I used to be, my life’s been changed.
Not shackled by sin and shame, it's already gone.
I'm happy reminding you, it's under the blood!

I’m happy reminding you, it’s under the blood!
